CP-Analyzer.

 

Multidimensional analyses by mouse-click

With CP-Analyzer, the multidimensional analysis of external mass data from upstream systems, as well as of data already stored in Corporate Planner, is now a short and straightforward process, in which many new analysis requirements are fulfilled to a professional standard.

Analyses on voucher or data record level are carried out effortlessly from Corporate Planner by mouse-click. In sales management, for instance, an analysis might comprise dimensions such as distribution areas (regions, countries, continents), customers (customer groups, individual customers), suppliers, products (product groups, products, pack sizes) and price categories. The pack sizes which sold best in particular regions and to particular customers, or the customers who were given the largest discounts, can be instantly identified. Of course, similar questions which arise in cost management and elsewhere can likewise be answered in a flash.

How are analyses performed with CP-Analyzer?

The interactive CP-Analyzer user interface has aggregated key ratios and performance indicators and also detailed information from individual records ready in just a click, opening up completely new perspectives on the data. This does not involve going to the trouble of defining new analysis cubes according to the required information – an unavoidable task with OLAP tools.

Every dimension and all hierarchies in any order can be taken as the starting point for an analysis. CP-Analyzer recognises logical relationships automatically and presents query results in the form of lists, tables, graphics or other individually defined objects. A special feature is the option of displaying the data which do not satisfy the query specifications. Therefore, a sales analysis can also show the customers which have not purchased a certain product, and analyses of all combinations of qualitative and quantitative data are possible.

 

What limits are there to the amount of data which can be analysed?

CP-Analyzer uses state-of-the-art, patented, memory-based analysis techniques. Due to its scalability, exceptionally large amounts of data can be analysed extremely quickly on standard computers. Data from the Corporate Planner® tree structures are processed in the analyses, though relevant mass data in almost any format can be added as desired.

Since only a minimum amount of initial training is necessary and the module is intuitive to operate, CP-Analyzer can be introduced without delay and at relatively low cost.
